Every room is full of stories.

Amanda helps audiences see them and develop the storytelling skills to increase connection, maximize meaning, and accelerate results.

Every room is full of stories. Amanda helps audiences see them and develop the storytelling skills to increase connection, maximize meaning, and accelerate results.

It's not a Keynote. It's an Encounter.

Amanda Johnson, The Story Oracle, doesn’t arrive with a simple story that inspires, lessons to memorize, or trite clichés that slide right off the listeners.

She builds keynotes, workshops, and immersive experiences that develop the sight and skillset of a storyteller in the audience — so they can see, explore, and challenge the parts of their personal (or organizational) story causing the most unnecessary suffering, and eventually rewrite and repair them.

It’s an encounter with their soul, their story, and someone else in the room.

Every session is customized to the room.

What never changes is the posture: Amanda isn’t there to tell anyone who they are, what their mission is, or the steps to get there. She’s there to help them see clearly enough to choose and co-author it themselves.

Built with Three Practices

Narrative Resonance

Using story itself — a film, a myth, a case study, the room’s own stories — as a mirror. Where am I in this, and why does it matter? This is the entry point in nearly every experience Amanda curates.

Narrative Intelligence

Amanda brings the page in directly — the exercises she’s used for years to help authors, teams, and leaders find the narrative perspective they need to see and shift the story.

Narrative Repair

None of this holds without community. Every experience includes an opportunity to begin this process, not just watch her do it from the stage.

Bring Aaron Johnson, Too

As Amanda’s son, co-author of Raised by Story, and business partner in Saved By Story Publishing, Aaron Johnson adds a powerful second perspective to keynotes and workshops — sharing how growing up around this work shaped his own worldview and equipped him to step into leadership and serial entrepreneurship at a young age. A strong option for rooms serving parents, educators, helping professionals, or younger audiences, and leaders and entrepreneurs looking for a way to cultivate character in their children.

Before an Encounter

A team or audience disconnected from the story they’re actually living and the characters in it

Burnout, disconnection, or conflict treated as separate problems

Individuals carrying their story alone

After an Encounter

A shared language for uncovering, exploring, and navigating it together

A narrative root, finally visible and workable, and renewed excitement about their mission

A room that just witnessed each other becoming authors of their own, together
